  1. Did you know that the audio products from Emotiva Audio Corporation are sold very successfully in Germany . The market launch was over 2 years ago and has won a large fan base.
  2. Dear DeanG. that's really not true. You are doing a great job. I've been following this for years. You are a teacher of good sound and enjoy a high reputation in the community. Just because there is a crazy German (I mean) who is doing such a crazy sound potential analysis on the RF 7 MK II, does not diminish your work and recognition in any way. I will never achieve your status and recognition. Sincerely MicroMara
  3. One last hint for today regarding the experimental setup of the external crossover, the pictures that I posted today. All components are not yet fixed, they are only loosely placed in the housing, so I can pull everything further apart and also separate the resistors. Thank you ...
  4. I have been a member of the Klipsch community for 1 week and you are great. Not always and not all, but neither do I. Isn't it that ... the difference between boys and men is the price of their toys and I just want to play ....... again so late 00:05 a.m. local time. Since a week, I no longer get to hear my own system πŸ˜‚ Regards MicroMara
  5. My technical american english is really not so good that I always understand you straight away. This can easily lead to misunderstandings. Please excuse this. And as far as contact enhancement is concerned, whether the application on the crossover makes sense, I don't really know, but it was on the copper coils of the diaphragm and copper braid strands of the mid-bass woofer, as well as all OFC copper flat plugs and copper braid for the horn and the flat plugs in the crossover connections really useful. Regrads MicroMara
  6. @Deang What do you think about the Silver Mica Bypass caps , should I leave them out? I only read good things and heard about the Silver Mica from Germany for the mid-high range. Regards MicroMara
  7. @Deang Is this arrangement a better solution ? ItΒ΄s an external RF 7 MK II Mundorf crossover. Your opinion is very important to me . Thanx and regards MicroMara .
  8. You mean I should check the distances between the components again? the dimensions of the housings are ca. 12 inch by 20 inch. So I should pay attention to that...thanx
  9. I think that the most important information of today passed you by again The new experimental setup with the larger housings of the external switches. The individual components now have real space, no more induction fears, even the coils are set on polyamide bases. This is exactly what I imagined. Now it is getting exciting........
  10. it's a good 2,300 $ for all moddys together, so phases 1 to 6 , materials only . But with this investment, I hope to make them play in the $ 12- to 14.000 league. She's already playing in the $ 8- to 10.000 league. 😊 In Germany, however, audio products are very expensive, we have very very high taxes on luxury goods. You don't get used RF 7 MK II under $ 2.400 a pair, the MK III costs $ 4.400 here.

  12. I'll refer to my answer to BillyCraig if that's ok. Thanx MicroMara
  13. I should have called this thread NASA CONTACT ENHANCEMENT and not as named. I wrote everything about the Contact Fluidum, please turn back in this thread, if that's nonsense for you, okay, I will gladly accept it. But a really well-coated copper coil looks different. For this reason, I use waxed OFC ribbon coils this time. Best regards MicroMara
  14. Quite simply .. I like American products, once had a Chevorolet PT Cruiser, my aunt still drives a Chevorolet Camaro, I have a Grado SR 325 e headphones, Soundsmith pickups and also several Grado pickups.
  15. I wanted to add briefly that of course I sometimes only had the urge to kick my RF 7 MK II, which had been modified from phase 1 to 5, to 106 dB room sound pressure. Even at less than 60 dB, it provides a wonderful, wide and deeply staggered stage in the entire frequency spectrum in the room. Actually, you should all be happy that a German audio enthusiast chose your American Klipsch product and honors and loves it instead of choosing a German, English or Danish product. The fact that I am now able to experience it at an acoustically cultivated level that I consider possible is a real honor for the RF7 MK II. For me, it is and remains one the best worldwide affordable floorstanding speaker that you (Klipsch) has ever built have. 🀠 Regards MicroMara
  16. Hi Glens , With a sound pressure of 106 dB that I can hear with my RF 7 MK II in my music room and shake the foundations of my house and shoot the basses without resonance like a battle with laser cannons at Starwars, you have to touch the rear terminal, that vibrates completely. Now that the new insulation material has been revised, it has become much less. Not everything is measurable, can be represented in graphs. I have been infected with the HiFi virus for over 40 years. For the past few years I have been working as a sales marketing manager professionally in acoustics at a production studio. We produce commercial music, radio spots, jingles, SFX, etc. I believe that I have a little fundamental knowledge about audio technology and also a trained hearing ability. So my measuring instruments are my ears. I would never ever publicly communicate anything that, from a subjective point of view, I would not be absolutely convinced of. 🀠 MicroMara
  17. And then I'm also developing new smartphone horns. But there still has to be integrated a mini active bass module.Maybe Klipsch can help me with that? (all just fun) 😎
  18. I had a long day today and I'm going to stop now. It is 00.25 a.m. local time .My wife still wanted me to rebuild her kitchen today. 😎 MicroMara
  19. The RF 7 MK II gets these new terminals to which the external crossover are connected. The new terminal is installed with a walnut wood panel over the cutout of the original crossover. The loudspeaker terminals are made of surface-treated aluminum and impress with their comparably high material thickness of 10 mm. This high material thickness prevents Vibrations and optimally seals the weak point of the loudspeaker housing at the rear opening for connecting loudspeaker cables in order to create a stable pressure build-up of the acoustic vibrations to enable. Thanks to the silicone pad on the back of the terminal board, even the finest bumps at the connection point between Terminal and speakers housing completely sealed. The right picture shows a test setup on the original RF 7 MK II terminal, a couple of weeks ago. The 12 mm2 single wire speaker cables are then coupled to the horns using my 12 mm2 jumper. I attach great importance to the fact that the horns and the mid-bass woofers receive a separate power supply. Regards MicroMara
