  1. Can anyone tell to me, where is theBEER? you know, the guy who loves strong bass and beer This message has been edited by Zeke1122 on 06-02-2002 at 04:36 PM
  2. DEANG, i have a bad temper (and i am sure you can see easily) and i did not like some of TVodhanel's tone of words, so i tried to be clever just to let off some steam maybe. maybe we all need some strong drink, what is the preferred drink of Klipsch owners
  3. boa12, the blue car is where the magic happens theEAR, we should be all respecting our ma and pa. maybe you will not believe, but i am just playing around with TVodhanel when i talk about the blue car. i do not like his tone of talk sometimes but i am still playing. if i wait until christmas i think (hope) i can get some holiday specials on some subs and speakers and then i can bring the house down
  4. TVodhanel, you seem so disturbed. are you having nightmares and delusions i don't know. i did a search for you on the Hometheater forum and you seem to love to argue. editing comments i do not know why people do it but i do it to try to correct errors. if i talk with bad grammar and i worship your SVS, can i still be a hero? I never have even heard of VMPS subs what in blazes are you babbling about. please take your blue car and go asap, give ma and pa some privacy
  5. Klipsch ProMedia are the best in the price for speakers for the computer, yes? and if anyone can tell me more about the Klipsch reference large speakers that will be good too. what is the best value
  6. theEAR, there is no secret because a single 1220 and 250 watts was measured by professional reviewer at 110 db at 20Hz. you can order two 1220's and 500 watts amp and that might give you almost 120 db at 20Hz and remember for looooooww bass 1220 maybe better than VTF-3. why bother with VTF-2 it will not be enough for you because you like a lot of bass i can see. so because you seem to like a lot of low bass it would be better to order two 1220's and 500 watts, and then maybe also two VTF-3's in output mode to compare. DEANG, i was talking about the Hometheater forum where there is so much to read about svs not surprising because svs has so much exposure there This message has been edited by Zeke1122 on 06-02-2002 at 02:38 AM
  7. TVodhanel, i read on the site that 500 watts available at HSU in fall season who here is misrepresenting your product i dont see. but i see you talking about your future products and comparing to competitor that is a no no sir This message has been edited by Zeke1122 on 06-01-2002 at 12:37 PM
  8. reading the reviews on the HSU site, the HSU 1220, 250 watts, has 110 db at 20Hz. So i can get two 1220's and 500 watts for almost the same price as one Ultra and 500 watts, and the two 1220's and 500 watts give me almost 120 db at 20Hz, for sure more output than one Ultra
  9. people say that for loooowwww bass 1220 might be better than VTF-3. reading the reviews on the HSU site, the HSU 1220, 250 watts, has 110 db at 20Hz. So i can get two 1220's and 500 watts for almost the same price as one Ultra and 500 watts, and the two 1220's and 500 watts give me almost 120 db at 20Hz, for sure more output than one Ultra and i also see good data on the KLIPSCH RSW15 at the Hometheater forum, nice looking i think This message has been edited by Zeke1122 on 06-01-2002 at 04:17 AM
  10. imageman thank you for comments. imagine if you had two VTF-3's (not too much more money than one ultra) run in output mode, lot of output there probably.
  11. HELLO? MODERATORS? WHY IS TVodhanel, owner of SVS, allowed to use the Klipsch FORUM to promote his future products for free?
  12. hornED, if i buy a promedia can i be a part of your exclusive club? TVodhanel, i was doing some searches at the Hometheater forum and oh what do i see, but tested HSU VTF-2 with 93db at 20Hz and tested SVS CS20 with 91db at 20Hz. HSU VTF-2 has 10 inch driver, 150 watts, box. SVS CS20 has 12 inch driver, 300+ watts, huge tube. i guess simple physics is maybe not so simple after all please visit the local cc asap, load up the trunk, bring the blue car, and crank up the sound system, you will surely be the envy of the town i was looking through your website the other day and i could not find a phone number. i have never seen any company with no phone number. all from the convenience of a modem, oh yeah. i can understand because ma and pa would probably get irritated, and there is so much bass noise that maybe no one can hear the phone anyway you are the owner of a company but you go around in public talking like a petulant child, my sub is better than your sub mentality you have never heard a VTF-3, but you do not have an agenda. nah theEar, that is good, great. i think you will want to talk to dr. about what your goals are. he tells me that for loooooowwwww bass maybe 1220 is even better. you seem to like a lot of bass you might want two or three This message has been edited by Zeke1122 on 05-31-2002 at 08:04 AM
  13. good luck getting an unbiased opinion about HSU at this forum. you have people who do not own HSU and have never listened to VTF-3 talk about how it will compare. you can look at my post below to see initial impressions about HSU VTF-3 and they are so happy. even the HSU tubes can easily keep up with other tubes, read the review on the 1220 from HSU at his website This message has been edited by Zeke1122 on 05-31-2002 at 07:46 AM
  14. Ken, you do seem sincere so I thank you for that. Unfortunately, it seems that I am only allowed to worship SVS at this forum, and only then I can become a hero. HornEd, i will be looking for new speakers soon. i guess since i do not own Klipsch right now i am not allowed to be a part of your exclusive club. 15. TVodhanel, if ma and pa allow it, you should try to visit the local community college and talk to their math department for information about a logistics program. you can even take your blue car, you will surely be the envy of the town if you go in that car (they might hear you from a mile away if you crank your system loud enough) anyway, let me say again, and please read very slowly and carefully this time (ask a friend if you do not understand, or if your computer screen is shaking from low frequency energy): i already heard that HSU can be cheaper than list. and you obviously have to add a price of an amp to your SVS. and how can you forget the guy who says one VTF-3 compares to two SVS with 700 watt amp Price advantage there for SVS, huh? huh? Like i said before you are the owner of SVS, and you have never heard a VTF-3, but you don't have an agenda. Nah. theEAR, there are many designers who know much more about speaker design than TVodhanel. That is no secret. Even TVodhanel himself would not argue about that. Let me say again: i am sure that those people above who compared HSU VTF-3 vs. SVS would now choose HSU over SVS any day, and they have actually listened to the VTF-3.
