  1. Does any one know where to obtain speaker box plans for the Cornwall?
  2. ok...I exaggerated...maybe 35 pounds like you say....what are tinsel leads?
  3. these were bought on Ebay. But they are oak and cut down from orig size.
  4. It's true.....It's blown...hard to believe you could actually do it. I inherited this speaker. It was installed in my Cornwall. I replaced it with a K-33. Now I'm stuck with a blown , lone K-43 E. Anyone want it? It's 60 pounds and needs re-coning. Other than that it's in great shape. I can't imagine its worth much $'s because it would cost just as much to ship as its worth (as a blown woof that needs recone). I live in Northern CA, so if any Klipsch dudes want it, let me know at bsacco@attbi.com
  5. I was wondering what the current used prices are for the individual components of a Cornwall II? K-79-K K-57-K K-33 & also K43E Anyone have an idea?
  6. I paid $330 for the CW II's ...but here's the catch...the orig boxes were cut down to a smaller size due to WAF.... I suppose I could just re-cone the speaker. What exactly are the tinsel leads? Do you mean the terminals on the speaker itself. And how can it be a "Easy fix." Sorry for the elementary questions, but I'm a newbie to Klipsch speakers and the lingo. Also,, How can you test to see if the crossover is alright? Could a bad part in the crossover be causing my 43 woof to fart and "sound blown".
  7. Well, I just got the CW II's I just bought on EBAY today. It turns out that one of the woofers is blown....it's the 43..industrial woof. Also, the crossover wiring is original and is tired and oxidized. Does anyone have any suggestions on what type/guage wire to re-wire the components to the crossover with? I wonder if I go through the hassle of replacing the orig. wiring if it will make an audio difference.
  8. I need to build Cornwall II speaker cabinets from scratch. Anyone out their have the construction demensions and detailed plans? Much Appreciated, bob
  9. I'm interested in KLF-30's and KG 5.5's but have not heard either of them. Can you please describe how they sound, say, compared to a Heresy or chorus 1?
