fish, I figure that I will just go ahead & offer $2400 for the fronts & center out the door. This will be the first time using this dealer just cause of Sound Advice (Tweeter company) dropping Klipsch. I have bought quite a few things through Sound Advice over the years. To bad, cause they are located about 10 minutes from my house to. Thanks for the feedback guys, I really appreciate it!

thanks shane. 20% off sounds like a good #. It looks like he was trying to giving me 15% off msrp. I'm thinking my wife may only let me go w/ the fronts & center right now. Might have to wait a while for the rears. I have some extra rears I can sub in until I get the RS-7's at least.

Hey guys, I've lurked around these boards for quite a while now. I have learned alot from reading a ton of posts. Anyway.....I'm looking to upgrade to the reference line. I went to the ONLY authorized retail dealer in the central florida area. They quoted me these prices: RF-7's $1870, RC-7 $680, RS-7's $765. I was thinking that he could do better than that, but that's as good as he was willing to go. He did tell me this though. Get prices from other authorized dealers that are giving better deals & let him know. He said he would call Klipsch & see if they would allow him to match the prices. What I want to know is where you guys are getting the best deals for the reference line at (& how much). I would like to get the fronts for about $1600, the center for about $500 & the rears for about $650. Of course, if I can get em cheaper, the wife might let me give the nice people at Outlaw Audio a call to make an order. I appreciate any help you guys can give me in advance. I look forward to doing a bit more than "lurk" once I get my reference speakers.

thanks justin, I did see that auction on ebay. he sold 4 for $150. that was pretty crazy. if you look at the start & close times. it was only open for a couple hours. basically the first guy that saw them used the BIN.

I'm a first time poster here at klipsch. I was wondering if anybody could give some insight as to what my KG 2.5's are worth. I'm the original owner. One of the speakers has a blemish on the top corner & a small tear in the bottom of the grill. Hardly noticable though. Other than those 2 small things, the speakers look & sound great. (BTW...they're light oak finish) Right now the 2.5's are being used as rear surrounds. I have a pair of KSF 8.5's & would like to get KSF-S5's to match. I have no idea what these speakers are going for. Thanks in advance for any help.
