Rush... one of my all time favorite bands!

Those lights rock!!!  I had one back in college...oh the memories that seeing your picture brought back!

Nice KLF speakers.  I had the KSW sub for a bit about 15 years ago and dumped it relatively quick.  It's not musical at all.  My suggestion is look for a better sub when the time is right.

let’s be honest is a subwoofer really necessary with the 30s

option 1)-   find an orbital sander , and use 200 grit ,  tape the edges -it will very  lightly sand  ,  clean the surface ,   then , tape the sides with newspaper , use " satin black "  spray paint  in a left to right motion  -

option 2)-  use a Mohawk black  3 in 1 repair stick ---apply on the scratches

option 3)-  KIWI shoe wax Black and a black sharpie pen ,  1st  use the sharpie pen to color the scratches black  , then 2nd  ,  cover up the  scratches with shoe wax , rub it in  deeply ,  , then polish with a cotton rag -

option 4) -buy a rubber mat ,   cut it , and cover the top -

    -  Always remove any object on top of the speakers as these can scratch or dent the wood surface if they fall over -

thank you so much Randy I appreciate it gonna try option two the rubber mat idea is kind a cool I remember I used to have a few picture on top of the towers they rattled off when one day was listening to music and fell haven’t put them back up there since

my lamps sometimes vibrate a little bit but they have a rubber bottom

That is very cool that you found that, I'd say your Dad was a rock n roller. That U2 Joshua Tree is one of my favorites.

Lots of great music there, and some of the best musicians ever. Is this your taste in music also?

Lol, yes some older and newer and a good mix, even soundtrack. All still popular today, for sure.

If the Technics multi player still listenable, if you listened, you will be familiar from your youth.

Would say varied taste in music.

... all of us wish we had such a system when we were your age..... or at our age/s

Yeah at first I really didn’t realize how rare it was my mom told me that he paid a lot of money for the set up lol

I didn’t know how legendary the speakers were  until I realized there are literally guys in their 40s and this is their dream speaker

Doing the math indicates you lost your father when you were five.  I’m sorry for your loss.  You seem to be keeping his memory alive by resurrecting his system.  The best to you young man.

yeah I was five I can’t remember if I just turned five or turned six but my birthday was on June 21 and he passed On August 9

I had one of these back in the 90’s. I also had the wall sconces that were part of the same collection. Nice set up. Be safe and keep up the good work.

It’s hilarious on some lower volumes just the frequency and tone I guess rattles the inside bulb on them it’s hilarious I always hear them there’s nothing I can do to stop it lol

Nice rig young man!  Playing vinyl or is it all CD's?  Don't see a turntable anywhere.  It's all good just don't go insane with the volume levels and enjoy at YOUR listening level.  Let the rest of the gang wonder.  Unless you want to be an old deaf guy like the rest of us old geezers in here!  lol  Rock on and keep thinking of your father.  His act was together and the rig confirms it.  Enjoy and don't be a stranger.  We rock a lot of tunes in "Vinyl Record Spinning" and "You Tube Spinning" in the Lounge area here.  Stop in and kick back!  Welcome to the Forum!

I run Spotify on my Xbox and I got the technics sl-mc7

I love cranking the volume on this thing I remember when I first started listening to it loud it took a while for my ears to adjust
