I bought RP-3's on Ubid, the cost, for that auction anyway, was so cheap I couldn't pass it up. Let me tell you, they sound great! I've read a few posts from members that say to go with the newer and not discontinued RF3,5,7's and I'm sure I would love them but for $528 delivered for a pair I don't think they can be beat, and no need for a sub. Enough of that, love the Reference series but I'm buying a Synergy SC-1 center. One reason, it will fit in my entertainment center and I can adjust it's output level to a level that will match(for me) the RP-3's. I installed IC-650's in the ceiling for my rear surrounds, listened and adjusted output to a good level and I'm loving my HT setup right now. For less than $900 I feel like I've got a great setup. I'm selling my Polk RM 6200 HT's to a friend so my cash outlay is just over $500.
