  1. I'd be on that like stink on s**t....like white on rice....like gravy on biscuits... Well, I guess you get the idea. By the way....love my new Chorus II's...but if the right offer came along.....
  2. Yep. That's how they work, alright. They are just tough to remove. They look great and I'm getting ready to unload them from my car. I'll post back later on how they sound! Thanks for the reply.
  3. I am about to go pick up that pair of Chorus II's and wondered about grill removal. When I was at their store before, I tried to take the grills off and they didn't move. Are they removable or was their a group of speakers i.e. Forte, Chorus, etc. that did not have removable grills? Or did maybe a previous owner attach them down for whatever reason? Thanks for any help. In regards to another post about the Heritage line of speakers being "re-introduced", I heard similar rumors from my territory from both a Klipsch dealer (who has a set of K-horns on the floor) and the rep for OK and AR. He said something similar in that he heard that their was going to be some kind of new K-horn that would retail between $10K to $12K a pair. Who knows. Maybe they will announce or show something at CEDIA next month.
  4. I'm actually the Rep for NAD/PSB line (among other lines). They still make great stuff, too. One of my rep buddies rebuilds Mac and Altec stuff in Dallas that he resells. If you can find an Onkyo M504 power amp, that's a hot ticket at 165wpc. the Mac style VU meters are cool, too. As eficient as the speakers are, the extra power is definitely nice for the transients and dynamics. NAD has always faired well there. Too many good choices in the market, that's for sure.
  5. How do you get it to list your Equipment at the bottom of each reply? Don't you hate a newcomer asking all the old school questions? haha Thanks for any help.
  6. I found a pair of Chorus II's for $350 a pair that are in great shape. I'm not real sure which finish it is until I go pick them up but I'll let you know. The serial numbers were sequential so that was a bonus. I may use them for awhile and eventually sell them. I would love to find a pair of reasonable K-horns, but my living room doesn't allow it because of corner locations. I'll gladly settle for La Scala's or Belle's...given I can find them. One of my dealers has a pair of K-horns but he wants $6K for them. They are beautiful, too. What places do you guys ever see people selling electronics and speakers cheap? I mean like pawn shops, estate sales, etc. Not stores. One of my cohorts in Dallas picks up Mac, Altec, Bozak, etc and refurbishes it and sells it constantly. There has to be some in my area. (Tulsa) By the way...great forum. I have enjoyed reading and seeing pics of other peoples system that use the original and newer Klipsch speakers. I just had to finally jump in and join you guys!
