  1. Hello, Ryan here. Long time listener, first time caller. I have 2 1980 La Scala, 2 1980 Heresy, and 2 1977 (I think) Cornwall. Located in Brooklyn. All of my speakers also have the very old barrier strips. I usually use a bare wire connection, but I want to stop doing that and start using spades (I am moving speakers around, re-arranging, connecting and un-connecting, etc). I have read through this thread, but I am still at a loss as to what to buy. I do not want to drill holes. No interest in banana plugs. I want a higher quality copper spade, gold plated. I think those cheap ones from a hardware store someone posted will not give you the best signal transfer. Any tips on what to buy? Everything I have seen on Amazon and Parts Connexion is far too large. I ordered some and they do not fit. Do not bother trying these. They look very nice, but they are WAY too large. I cannot even get them inside the barrier of the strip. I am returning them to Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B082M74FVZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
