  1. Thanks again. I’m pretty loyal to the Klipsch brand but, I have to admit I have been considering a SVS sub when I upgrade. Are those types of topics allowed in the forums?
  2. Thanks for the replies! @inMotionGraphics you said, get the biggest second sub. So it doesn’t matter if it doesn’t match the other sub? For some reason, I was thinking they should match. Thanks.
  3. Hey everyone! My receiver has the option for two subs but I currently only have 1 R-10SW connected. Should I get a second R-10SW or just replace it with something more powerful? I like the current sub but feel it can’t always hit the really low frequencies and chuffs sometimes during big action scenes. Let me know your thought. Thanks
  4. Thanks again. I think the Audyssey is set to Reference instead of flat and the dynamic volume is off. If I can’t get the RC-25, how much should a RC-35 sell for? I see one of those locally listed for $150
  5. Thanks @billybob @Zen Traveler I did run the Audyssey set up and the overall sound in the room is pretty good. I then set the front speakers to small and did crossovers at 60 or 80 so that the sub would handle the lows instead. I’m not sure if that messes up the other Audyssey settings? Just looking for a little extra clarity, especially during movies. That is when I feel the voices are really lost. I’ve also tried turning up the center but, that didn’t sound right either, to my ears.
  6. Thank you for the replies. I did previously try a Polk CS10 and then a Martin Logan Motion 8i but, I didn’t like the way they paired with the mains either. I just haven’t tried another Klipsch center. Only the current center (R-25C). Any other center speaker I should try in case I can’t get the RC-25?
  7. Hey everyone, I just joined and I’m hoping for center channel advice. I currently have the following set up: Denon AVR-X2300W receiver R-25C center R-28F front left and right speakers R-10SW sub Mirage Nanosat surrounds I’m looking to upgrade my center channel since I feel the voices are sometimes overpowered by the front left and right speakers. I can pickup a RC-25 speaker locally for $50, which has a titanium tweeter. Should I give that speaker a try? How important is timber matching? What are your suggestions? Thanks
