  1. Funny, sounds like we’re in the exact same boat, just about 1,500 miles apart.
  2. Hi everyone. New to the community here, after someone just told me about the website this morning. I can see myself spending a lot of time reading here. I’ve been looking for Forte I or II or Chorus I or II (or Cornwalls, but that’s a stretch with my budget) for a little over a year. I live just North of Lancaster, PA, and have been searching a 250 mile radius daily (sometimes several times a day). Seems like everything is either beat to crap, outrageously priced (I am convinced these are guys who said “Fine, wifey, I’ll list some speakers for sale” just so they can say they did and that they don’t know why nothing is selling), or reasonably priced and snatched up within minutes or hours. I have missed out on dozens of pairs over the past year because I just wasn’t quick enough (pesky job gets in the way of the finer things in life). I was about to just give up a few weeks ago, and then I got to hear my neighbor’s Chorus, Forte, and Quartet, which rekindled the stoke. I am willing to pay a fair price. Not looking for one of those unbelievable, magical deals some people brag about (you know the ones, where they say “I was at a garage sale and picked up a pair of K-Horns and a Heresy center for $16 and some pocket lint”), but also not looking to pay more than something is worth. Looking for a fair transaction that both parties can walk away feeling good about. I am currently running Dahlquist DQ10s in my main system, and they’ll likely be sold when I find something. So, if anyone is interested in a trade for DQs and cash, that’s also an option. If anyone in the Mid-Atlantic region (or even the Northeast or Ohio) has any of these laying around, please let me know. Thanks!
