I sold mine on ebay worked out great

my ex bought me a bar 48 we split up and I will not reach out to her to ask her for a receipt now the thing had no lights I sold it to the repair shop for $25 because they said there is no repair and they wanted it for parts but now I'm regretting it thinking there might have been a way to have it repaired does anyone have advice for the next time something like that happens and how to find a good repair shop also what is everyone second go to brand I might try B&W for my theater

I got 1400 (without ebay fees) and he was very happy I was offered 1700 a once and 1800 but you know how people are and don't fallow through so when he showed up with cash it was his better then sitting around my house

and no before I start getting messages about that it was just a joke but wouldn't that puzzle the new owners of the house lol

It would be funny I'm gonna have my roof replaced and they have to tear out a section and replace the plywood and also the rafters so there will be a big whole in there i should pay the roofers a couple bucks to put the speakers in the attic and make the new owners wonder how it got in there lol

Good to know I didn't know lol I hope I never have to mess with it again personally. A few people just say stuff or ask 100 questions on ebay when they know they aren't gonna buy them. I don't mind on here because I reached out for help and I appreciate the knowledge from yall but one person sent me some messages saying they live in California and wanted pictures so I sent pictures thinking maybe they have a home in Florida after probably 10 times going back and forth they say they can't pick them up and if I would take $300 and mentioned before they sent ALL $300 LMAO if I would take them in after I package them and see how much shipping would be for them... crazy

thanks for the advice I didn't want to polish them and seem like I'm trying to hide anything I don't want that on me lol maybe I'll polish them and take really good photos of the few spots that wont come out easy instead thanks. I'm tempted to take them apart and trashing the wood because of the size of the wood and selling the parts since it all seems to work great and then I just don't have to deal with it

so how do people bid on something if there is no starting point? One penny or 1 million someone has to bid first but then there can be a RESERVE AFTER THAT OR NONE TY!!!!!

It's more so to weed out the cheap people! what's the big deal if the starting bid is a penny or 300k on my auction and no reserve either way it doesn't have a reserve.. If the first bid was a penny would that still be a reserve since someone has to bid on it first? I guess I'm lost why my auction your so concerned about are you thinking of bidding? If so send me your ebay name and I will send you a private offer. If your just concerned with my ebay auction and trying to ruin someone's day or just bored please move on ty.... With no reserve there still has to be a starting point. Instead of the starting bid of 1 penny I set to to where I want then it sells for NO RESERVE after that or I can set it to be a starting bid for 2k then a reserve for 20k and if the reserve is not met it doesn't sell Ill try and change it if they don't sell I need to clean them and I will put them back for a higher buy it now price to avoid the confusions I guess

nice thank you for the help I didn't want to mess anything up as far as collectors go I know some stuff like coins are easy to clean but its a big no no so I figured best to leave them for now until I do my homework lol
