  1. I hooked my 5.1s right up to the analog inputs on my SB audigy platinum EX and unchecked digital output and all the speakers work fine... but when i run from the optical out of my sound card to the optical in of the DD5.1 and run the DD5.1 to my promedias with digital out checked off.. i only get sound from 2 speakers so i don't know why it doesn't work using the DD5.1.. it used to before i had to send my speakers for repair... but also i messed with all my settings when my speakers first broke because i wasn't sure what was wrong.. so it may be a computer issue.. i reset the dd5.1 as well to the factory defaults.. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!
  2. My computer crashed last night and caused me to reformat the damn thing and reinstall everything.. I have seen that other people have had the same problem but no one gave them a solution that works.. My problem is that my audio is only playing out of the 2 front speakers from my computer... my setup is this: optical out from my SB audigy EX platinum to my DD 5.1 which is then connected to my promedia 5.1. I know that the DD 5.1 is fine because my dvd player is hooked into the coaxal input of my dd 5.1 and I am getting surround with that. This all worked before I reinstalled everything. I have it set to digital out only, sampling rate of 44.1 and SPDIF is set to AC-3 SPDIF-in decode... I am not sure what I have to do to get this working so any help would be appreciated. I have tried many combinations of settings and nothing will get me audio out of more than just the 2 front speakers. ------------------ matt
