  1. Absolutely fabulous!!!
  2. He had white horses And ladies by the score All dressed in satin And waiting by the door Ooh, what a lucky man he was Ooh, what a lucky man he was White lace and feathers They made up his bed A gold covered mattress On which he was laid Ooh, what a lucky man he was Ooh, what a lucky man he was He went to fight wars For his country and his king Of his honor and his glory The people would sing Ooh, what a lucky man he was Ooh, what a lucky man he was A bullet had found him His blood ran as he cried No money could save him So he laid down and he died Ooh, what a lucky man he was Ooh, what a lucky man he was
  3. I have the CBS half speed. The blue vinyl makes the P3 platter glow! This week I watched the Tom Scholz PBS documentary for the first time. I've known he made the Boston debut in his apartment basement for a long time. Watching him go through it on the documentary is amazing!
  4. Walmart blue vinyl. Not as good as the half speed mastered. Vocals seem toned down. Brad Delp is as much as Boston as Tom Scholz. Still pleasing to listen to. If one is found at Walmart, it's worth picking up. I've seen on Ebay asking stupid money. Pass on those.
  5. I went to a Prince concert at Civic Center in St Paul Minnesota in December 1984. He played a ivory guitar and while playing a solo he was stroking the fret board and a white substance was squirting out the neck. I think it was 7 days straight of sold out concerts.
  6. On my last two posts I neglected to mention Dion is 45rpm, which is obvious. Little Richard is 78rpm. I am amazed how good 78s sound.
  7. 1957 Motorola Masterpiece Current play, Dion-The Wanderer
  8. You floors look nice. My first house had oak hardwood. My current house is carpet. Very good for acoustics though.
  9. Hemi or Magnum? 🤔
  10. Open up those drop cloths more! Would hate to see freckles all over those nice floors!
  11. No, only a friendly public service announcement.
  12. Always take care while dusting 😬
  13. Whatever happened to Robert Gordon?
  14. The album is often referred to as a staple of 1970s rock and has been included on many lists of essential albums. It has sold at least 17 million copies in the United States alone and at least 20 million worldwide, making it one of the best-selling debut albums of all time. CBS Half Speed Mastered
  15. Picked up this clean copy for $4 years ago. First time playing with MC cartridge. Sounds like audiophile copy!! I think my 1990 La Scalas, with Klipsch sw12 ii are helping a bit.
  16. Boston going now. Played song Don't Look Back 3 times now. Going for a 4th!!
  17. I purchased my Planer 3 in 2016 with Elys MM. From day one there was something wrong. Took it in. Cartridge was defective. Lucky Needle Doctor in Minnesota didn't have any Elys in stock. Replaced it with Ortofon 2m Blue. Extremely happy with the 2m Blue. Skeptical about going with Rega Cartridge again. But I plopped down $900 for the Ania. My first MC cartridge. Awesome cartridge!! I have a whole new vinyl experience now!! And long stories are accepted here!! 😆
  18. "Green Grass and High Tides" is a song by American Southern rock band Outlaws. It is the tenth and final track on the band's debut album, Outlaws. The song is one of their best known, and has received extensive play on album-oriented radio stations, although it was never released as a single. The song is notable for having two extended guitar solos that stretch the song to nearly 10 minutes.
