  1. Gotta question. Can I use my chorus II's as subwoofers/fullrange. I am currently using my kenwood reciever as a preamp/amp. Preamp for my center(KLF-C7), and mains (Chorus) they in turn are amped by an Adcom 2535 center in bridged mono. That being said, I do not currently own a sub. Since my reciever has a preout for the sub this is what I was thinking might work. Y connector at the sub preout, to two each Y connector at the right and left channels at the amp. Y connector at the amp so it will get the signal for the midranges and sub. In theory the Chorus will get all of the bass and midrange. The cutsheet says they only go down to 39Hz, but they sound like they have plenty O' bass during Two channel. So whatta you think? Cheaper than buying a sub but will it sound comparable? Thanks

  4. Thanks for the comments, I am really impressed on how everyone in the forum responds quickly, and informatively. I am new to the klipsch world but lovin' every minute!
  5. I recently purchased a set of Chorus II's (oiled oak), Man I love em! I know that the Academy is the preferred center channel, but it is real hard to come by, not sure if I trust e-bay. Same story with the KLFC-7. I was wondering if anyone had tried the RC-7 with the Chorus II? If so how do they sound. I am also looking into purchasing a second set of Chorus II for the rear surrounds, I have a line on someone selling them for a good price. Two problems one is that they are darker oak. Can they be refinished or should I just leave them alone? Second I have to convince the wife on letting go of the floor space. All comments are appreciated.
