  1. Ok, I have yet to find an answer on this subject yet so I'll ask it here. I have a KSW-12 sub that for some reason pops on occasion, like if someone hit the top of the sub housing with a hammer. Some say it's the amp clipping. Does clipping produces a loud pop or bang? I managed to reproduce the sound my self and listening close it sounds like the sub woofer is unable to handle a single sharp bass punch. I have an Sony STRDB830, the sub is about 2 yrs old. I hate to ship it back for service because of its size. Any thoughts anyone?
  2. I have a KSW-12 that sometimes makes a loud pop sound when I'm watching a DVD. On LOTR the opening scene where (Sarron) gets his finger cut off, just as the ring goes up in the air and lands on the ground, "POP". Now my sub never did this before. Even during Monsters, Inc "POP" Its like it can't handle a sharp bass punch anymore unless I turn down my sub and reduce LFE signal. Any Ideas? Do I have to return it for warranty service, its only a couple of years old?
  3. I have an KSW-12 sub that I bought a couple of years ago. Recently I started to experience during certain scenes of various dvd movies an extreme pop sound, like something falling on top of the sub. The only why around this is to turn down the sub which makes all the movies sound flat. I have it setup with a Sony STRDB830, the volume on the sub is at 7. I don't ever recall this ever happening previously. I'm well within the warranty period so can you advise me what I need to do to have my sub repaired.
