  1. Are there any distinct advantages to the "push pull" design they incorporate in their subs? Thanks Rigged
  2. Viper Dude, Call 1-800-KLIPSCH. They have what you seek. Rigged
  3. I have noticed that this board has been cluttered with bad experiences with Klispch CS in the past. I was very impressed with speed of the delivery. In regards to baseball sized hail in Houston.........That's a true statement. Our mosquitos are really huge too....heck they need a runway just to take off. Rigged
  4. Many thanks to the people that work behind the scenes for helping Rigged. The gentleman I spoke with treated me with the utmost courtesy in assisting me. My Forte II's are once again singing in harmony! Thanks to Bob G as well. Happy In Texas Rigged
  5. Sir Boa, Of course I tweaked the receiver to sub on....lol. I also hooked up the sub to Pre Out instead of subwoofer. My question is..why on earth would a receiver have a subwoofer input? Surely there's no hidden speaker of bass in the receiver...lol. Can you explain? Rigged
  6. Sir Boa, I am indeed using a Y connector to make the connection to the sub(Velodyne Model CT100). The receiver does have a sub on and sub level adjustment which I did tweak. According to the Receiver's manual....it should be hooked up to PreOut Sub instead of Subwoofer input. I wonder why it would have two Subwoofer hook ups to begin with. The one thing I haven't done is test the cable I bought(new)with another component.....DOH...lol. Rigged
  7. The current but soon to be replaced receiver a Pioneer Model VSX-D509S. There are two Sub Outs.. One is labeled Pre Out Sub and the other simply Subwoofer. Both are single pre out though. I'm not sure about the gain switch. Hopefully when my new receiver(Yamaha 2090)arrives this week it will put an end to my line out dilemma. Rigged
  8. I tried that but still no sound using line level connections. I'm not sure if the receiver is flawed or what. The new receiver I'm getting has both main in and out connections so hopefully it will work. Rigged
  9. Thanks Zandern. It's a Velodyne sub with both input and output connections. I actually purchased a Klispch Sub earlier that day but couldn't get it to work. I was so dissapointed but I did get my money back. RIGGED
  10. I recently purchased a powered sub with both line level and speaker connections. My receiver has one pre out for sub yet my sub has four RCA connections. Is it necessary to occupy both Input and output on the sub in order to function? Thanks RIGGED
  11. Help!! One of my Forte IIs has lost the tweet from its tweeter. Can someone post a link for parts information? Thanks
