This then brought up another question, do you know the split how many 12” cabinet vs 15” cabinets made?
-
Could you tell me what was the total cabinets made? I’ve heard the serial numbers started in the 500’s and I thought I saw 666 was a total, last serial was letters and numbers?

#786 logbook entry says: S-M-2.15; E.V.; W2
It shipped 6 Nov. 1957. No idea why it was "inspected" 3 months later!
Thank you for digging into this, I’m completing the purchase of 995 as we speak. Oh the color of #786?

995 is also one of the relatively few 15" woofer versions sporting a 22 network. It should sound more bass-heavy!
Ok, what was this sold as 786 I know it’s loaded correctly for the speaker config and has a W2 network. 33? Or 22? And if I haven’t said it Thank you everyone for providing all this info. 😊

Hmmm, I’ll need to open mine again and look as to how it’s wired.

Curious what the difference in sound was having the crossover as a w22 and 15” vs w33 and 15”

In any case, they both shipped Dec. 14, 1959 and were entered as "SWO-15, 103LX, SAHF, K-77, and W5-22". A few 15" woofer versions reflect the W22 network. However, the vast majority have the W22 for 12" woofers and the W33 for 15" woofers. Not sure why a few "buck the trend".
Weird as 995 I’m looking to purchase.

In this crossover the use of an autoformer. But is not a TA-2 Autoformer as it has only 4 taps not 5?
