  1. Hi, I have a few tips: 1. Dolby Digital. If the light is not on - check your TV settings thoroughly, my LG TV had two output settings! I set both on Auto, and voila, the DD light lit up on the 600. 2. On PCM, Surround mode does make quite a difference. On some DD movies it does, and others does not. 3. Ensure you have the latest Klipsch Connect app on Android/iOS, and you may be able to update the firmware. Also if it subsequently disconnects, remove the 600 as a device from the app, and re-add it. Happy listening.
  2. Hi guys, has anyone used the digital (optical) input for audio? Since I've decided that streaming from the TV for music with Tidal etc is a bit of a schlep and not gapless, and while Bluetooth sounds good but not solid, I've decided to get a Wiim Mini streamer for music duty and connect via optical. Any thoughts?
  3. Actually there is a firmware update option in the app, see the following shots which includes my firmware version (65):
  4. Excuse me, but the firmware is updated through the Connect App?
  5. Thanks, it's otherwise great, Tidal streaming through Bluetooth sounds really good, at the HiFi setting.

  7. Does anyone know power consumption figures for the 600?
  8. I just got the Cinema 600, no surrounds, a few things: 1. The subwoofer is great, but had to turn it way down for my taste. 2. My LG TV seems to have the Dolby Digital Plus HDMI option when connected to the 600. I've left it to Auto, and it plays DTS discs without any fiddling. 3. I'm trying to save on power costs so I switch off the 600 at the plug, and I wish the LED brightness and Surround mode settings would persist, it's a bit of a pain to have to set them every time. I've submitted a request to Klipsch for this. 4. The Surround mode doesn't do much? Or do I need to listen longer? 5. Tidal through the LG TV app sounds great, but not quite gapless. 6. Bluetooth streaming sounds better than expected, they should have added aptX support at least though.
