  1. 007

RA Department is sending me a FedEx shipping label with instructions how to contact FedEX and have them pickup the SWS at my location.

When they receive my old SWS they will then send me a new set.

Klipsch has a excellent Customer Service Department.

I hope and pray the new set operates properly when I get it.

  2. Hi 007

Thought I was hearing some sound from my SWS but it was just wishful thinking checked it with a SPL meter and got nothing. I tried several different setting on the SWS and volume controls still no good. So I will have to get a RMA.

My ProMedia Ultra 5.1 is working fine no problems at all. Got some DVD Audio Disks and they sound great.

I hope they can replace or repair the SWS and get one back to me within a reasonable period of time.

  3. Hey 007

I ordered SWS on 1-2-04 and received it today 1-9-04 can't complain about that. It got here in good shape.

Got it all hooked up and playing but it's not very loud. It sounds like about 1/4 as loud as the Ultra SubWoofer. Is there anything I can do to get more sound out of it?

The SWS volume control is turned way up, the control box for Ultra Sub is set at 15 + 45 in LED Window the Audigy 2 ZS system volume control is almost at max. Low pass set at 90 tried changing phase but still no change in sound.

    What am I missing?8.gif

  4. Hey 007,

I ordered the Klipsch SWS and according to the FedEx web site it is suppose to be delivered tomorrow. I heard rumors that they do not always keep to their delivery schedule. So if it comes Saturday that would be alright with me as I won't be home all day tomorrow.

I hope it sounds as good as you say, am very anxious to have a go with it. It's coming from China by way of California - Ohio - Pennsylvania.

Will let you know what I think of it when it's hooked up to my Ultra's.

  5. I know the CC number is 128 secured while transmitting over the internet. What I am worried about is once I give out the number it will be in MY COMPUTER FOR ALL TO HACK AND GO ON A SHOPPING SPREE. Just like your computer remembers your name and address etc. when you fill out different forms.

Don't tell me they can't hack into my machine and get it. There are many instances where they hacked big company main frames and stole many customer CC numbers and all the info to go with them such as name and addresses etc.

I have the latest Norton A/V and keep it updated but that won't stopped a determined hacker.

  6. I will never put my credit card numbers on my computer for the hackers to play with. I know about the $50.00 limit but do not want the hassle.

If a company with not accept my credit card over the phone or a personal check by mail I don't do business with them. There are many company that will accept this type of payment.

  7. I have read in other forums of people having the same problem you are experiencing. They too had just downloaded a updated for MS Internet Explorer. The only thing I can tell you is keep watching for another MS download that fixes their last update. Good Luck on the new update.

  8. Hi rgodfrey,

I doesn't hurt to give Klipsch a call. Their Customer Service people are there to keep customers happy. That is a small item I wouldn't be surprised if they sent you one for free.

I have contacted several companys asking for small replacement items and they were more than glad to send me what I needed at no charge!

    Give it a try!

  9. Hi,

Has anyone purchased a custom computer from Velocity Micro located in Richmond VA. I am in the market for a high quality custom made machine and this company looks good to me. But I don't know anyone that has purchased from them.

I was thinking about the Velocity Micro Gamer's Edge Computer.

Can you tell me how their computers are quality wise and their customer support?

    Thanks for any input.

  10. Hew, I sent Videologic a e-mail asking for their US dealer and they said it was www.icuii.com!

So in a couple of months when I get my new computer that's what I'm getting.

Read some user reviews and everyone is happy with their Videologic Digitheatre Dts 5.1. It's not a real huge speaker system only totals 220 Watts but it does not have failure rate like Klipsch.

Owners have been running them for over a year and still no problems.
