  1. Chan, I used to have the same problem, but there's a fix for the low volume in Power DVD. Download the newest patch from cyberlink's website, and you might also want to download this file so you can have master volume: http://www.winbookcorp.com/ftp/j1_dvd.reg
  2. I just have a tiny dent on the sub and a small scratch on one of the satellites.
  3. Bah! 6.1 is yesterday's news. Now we have 7.1 http://www.guru3d.com/review/hercules/fortissimo3/

Go ahead and buy the refurbs if you want to save some money. It would just make better sense to spend $50 more and get a brand new set.
  5. I've had my refurbished 4.1 speakers for months now and I love them. They sound awesome at ear-shattering volumes. But still, for $50 more you might as well get brand new ones.
  6. I like to have the dot pointing strait up. Setting the bass to max just doesn't sound very good.
  7. I haven't had any problems with my refurbed promedias, but I've only had them for a few weeks. Anyways, if you really don't want to get the best 4.1 system then my second suggestion would probably be the Logitech Z560 4.1 speaker setup.
  8. The refurbed 4.1's are still being sold: http://store.klipsch.com/details.asp?prodID=35
  9. Does anyone actually leave the bass at the recommended volume? I found that it was just not enough bass for my taste, so I turned the nob to about 2 o'clock.
