Will wonders never cease! Was just contacted by Klipsch Support...and they have the speaker! Will be here in a week or so. Thank you all for your help in this.

I need to replace one of my woofers in my quartet speakers. Woofer has what I believe is a frozen voice coil, as I can't move the cone at all with my fingers. Would rather have an original speaker than a replacement one. Thank you. Addendum - Was just contacted by support, and they DO have the speaker. Problem solved.

I think the voice coil is frozen. I can't move the cone at all with my fingers, and the other one moves freely. If so, is that a fixable problem? And thanks for your advice.

When I wrote to them, they said they didn't have them.

I have a 25 year old set of Quartet speakers, and I need a replacement for one of the woofers. Are they available? If not, what is an acceptable substitute? Thank you.
