Hi All,
Since were on the subject of amps, I would like some feedback on the sound characteristics of the Musical Fidelity a300 integrated amp, if anyone has any input. I'm going to be driving it with rf3's. I posted this in the past but didnt get much of a response. Sorry for the repetetive post!

With all due respect, why the rb5 over the rf3, when the rf3 houses an additional driver. I would anticipate more and better mid & bass extension, IMHO.

I already have the rf3II, so I'm committed on that end.

Anyone out there have any experience pairing rf3II with a Musical Fidelity a300 amp? Interested in characteristics of pairing and would adding a rsw 10, be a cost affective inclusion.
thankx for your input

Hi Im new hear
I own rf3II, love the clarity in the mids, I have them hooked up to an old Kenwood KA 880 amp, & vintage sony cd player, 84 model. Biwired with combination Target & Home Depot speaker wire. Compared to my HT system which consists of Pioneer Elite vsx47, Pioneer Elite dv-05, Def Tech bp2004tl, Monster interconnects & speaker wire, it really holds its own. Can't wait to hook up the Musical Fidelity a300 I have coming next week it should be incredible with a class act amp.
just had to share this with u all.
Thankx
P.S. My first experience with Klipsch were the Khorns back in 1980, I was at a girlfreinds house, dad had them hooked up to ss receiver, cant remember the brand, but that experience has stayed with me in my mind fresh like it was yesterday. AMAZING!!!

Ive come across alot of great words about the scott 299. I have the opportunity to pick one up for $450.00. I'm new to the tube scene, need to know from u pros if this is a justifiable going price for one of these vintage amps.
thankx
