Does any one have experience with Sunfire amps?I have been reading about the new Sunfire Ultimate receiver and it seems like what I'm looking for. The only problem is I don't know anyone who has experience with Sunfire products. I always thought the best reveivers w/the most watts were the heaviest and biggest. this new receiver is only 35 LBs 17"w 5.75H 16.5d.??? Can soneone fill me in on Sunfire. Great, good, average,or bad. Also are there better receivers out there for the money and if so what? Thanks

Doug Drake: Thanks for the reply. I have been told by some that the my 2 front speakers are very similar to Klipsch Chrous. You apparently have the Chrous's. A description of my speakers now follows my post. Do you agree they are similar to the Chrous speakers? Also does that change your answer to my cross over question.Thanks again.

I agree with Boa 12 that it's a shame to waste large floor standing speakers by setting the receiver to small but I would like to try the small setting to hear if the bass is less muddy. I also have the de935 (until I upgrade to the denon).If I set the 935 to small for my fronts what HZ do I set the rsw12 at? The sub is in the rt corner directly behind the floorstanding speaker. I would appreciate any inpute.

Does anyone know if dolby is close to bringing out discreet 6.1 decoding to compete with dts discreet?I don't want to buy the new denon4802 if the next version has discreet 6.1 decoding.I know there is no software but I'm looking to the future.Also won't monopole rears be better for discreet 6.1? I read a great debate btwn HornEd and Keith back in Apr.For a bridge btwn now and the future should I get 2rb3's or 5's and 2 WDST's or 4 mono's or 4 WDST's. I'm so confused.

My rm isn't HT friendly.16x15x8 but rm only has 3 walls.Lft of my 6'couch is an open kitchen.There is a low counter btwn HT rm & kitch.There are 2 open doorways into 2 other rms.The wall the 38"hd is on is only 12'.The rest is open doorway.I sit 10'fr tv;& all speakers.There are 2'in bk of couch.The back wall has an 8'glass dr w/cloth levelors.The same w/the 2 windows on the rt wall.The system will be 100%Ht/tv.My rt/lf frt are floor standing Presidio encloures 23wx24wx15d.They have EV t-35's;EV t-25's;EV sp-c12"woof.they are ported.N-3 university cross.They sound great w/music lousy w/voices.I bought the rc311 and the rsw12 sub.I can scrape everything & start over but would like suggestions + re a 7.1 receiver in the Denon 4802 or slightly above range.With my rm it's hard to mount speakers.4rb3's on stands? Appreciate help
