  1. I like to push them loud, aka, house party. Like klipsch says, piss off your neighbors, Loud and Proud
  2. You say you like the Emotiva, but you posted two AMPs, which one do you prefer? I bought the updated BasX A2 160w for Klipsch newer RP-8000F II, I think I should have went with the bigger one, no headroom, seems like I'm pushing it, already blew a tweeter (twice)
  3. Why would you hard pass on Emotiva Amp? Nothing but great reviews and fantastic customer service. I just purchased the BasX A2 not too long ago. I really wanted the 300w Amp for extra headroom, but not for $700 more. Maybe i should have gone with it? (Music). See my full issue below. Many thanks, Kazz
  4. I'm facing the same issue. I went from Bic America Pl-89 towers that say they can handle 225w RMS, I must admit, they were extremely loud and clear, until I blew a crossover, but the towers were 10yo. So I now have the new klipsch RP-8000F II, but they are rated at 160w RMS, I'm also using Emotiva BasX-A2 160w Amp. Kinda spot on even in wattage, BUT, I already blew a tweeter, not once, but twice. I was very disappointed coming from $300 Bic America to $750 Klipsch. I truly expected more. Should I have gone with the Emotiva Gen3 300w RMS for extra headroom? Is my 160w Emotiva putting out distortion which keeps blowing one tweeter? BTW, I noticed the Klipsch are very bright, a bit harsh for my liking, i guess it takes getting used to.. As of today, I'm literally waiting on the 2nd replacement tweeter. What to do, what to do. 🤔 Keith
