    Best lyrics

The Black Crowes "Girl From the Pawnshop" from Three Snakes and One Charm With pawnshop eyes and a second hand frown she sat silent at the table Her boots were brown, should she leave town To play the role of lover ex-patriot A nod to the waiter, always her flirty behavior, You know she always gets one on the house She pulls out a letter from a bag Under her sweater and before she reads she straightens her blouse "There's a passion in being alone A grace in a loveless time There's no new cross, there's no new sign only the sun and the changing tide" "And out of respect, well I really must confess I never lost your number I never lost your address And if we remain friends at best Sometime later no, no not yet we'll smile and remember it like this" She put back the letter, one tear falls like a feather and disappears on the bar room floor The gratuity included, you know the letter concluded P.S. All my love Damn...I had to listen to that song thinkin of the lyrics. Gives me goosebumps!

    More Blues ...

Uhhh, Jimmy Rogers? The disc "The Jimmy Rogers All-Stars, Blues Blues Blues" is an excellent recording. Everyone's on this disc. Clapton, Jaggers/Richards, Page/Plant, Taj Mahal, etc. A must-have imho! A lot consider it crossover type stuff, but I think Keb Mo is excellent as well. Corey Stevens puts out good stuff as well. Blue Drops of Rain would be his most "pure" album, again imho. Robben Ford is very good as well. If Kenny Wayne could get past his own ego who knows what could happen?? I think Jonny Lang is pretty decent. Pick up "Lie to Me" and see for yourself. Let's not forget Robert Cray. Oh, and Jimmy Vaughn isn't too bad either. He's no Steve Ray of course, but it doesn't hurt my ears at all when i listen to his stuff. How bout Buddy Guy? "Slippin In" is a pretty fun album. Of course the list goes on and on, but these are some of my favorites, besides the obvious stuff of course. Have fun!
  3. Hey bud, I've been running 4.1's for about two years now, no problems other than the "scratchy" plugs that I'll someday get around to fixing. Here's what I recommend...enjoy the hell out of em! I listen to a little bit of everything, excluding rap and most country, and mine are what I'd call "cranked" fairly often. I've noticed no degredation in sound quality since new. I also leave my pc up most if not all the time, and have had no issues with the amplifier. And these are also previous to the "standby" mode now available. Again, the best thing you can do with these things is load up some clean tracks in your mp3 player of choice and listen as loud as you please! Have fun.
