  1. I have been experiencing a problem with my woofer, in that medium to high volumes cause the sub to overheat, which in turn seems to cause the voice coil to 'rattle' or 'buzz'... Now that im hearing this rattle is the damage done? or if i give it a little time to cool off should it be okay (as long as i dont play it at those volumes again). I guess what's confusing the hell out of me is that it doesnt seem like im playing the woofer that loud, and the rattling occurs at certain tones, in certain songs... althought it seems to become more pronounced over time. Vauge post i know, but im somewhat in the dark here with respect to what is actually happening to my sub... any advice/FYI?? Thanks.
  2. I am having a problem with a woofer of mine, in that the woofer is apparently overheating causing the voice coil to make a rattling/buzzing type sound... I do not believe the volume is too loud, so im not really sure how to remedy this problem, any suggestions? (I know question may be a little vague, but im also a little vague on the whole voice coil thing, and why it creates a rattle/buzz noise) Thanks for any help.
  3. If I am planning on playing a EAX PC game, what mode should the DD 5.1 be in to ensure true surround gaming?
  4. First, I must say that i have not heard the new Dolby Prologic II, so am going based off of the original Prologic. However, when it comes to turning a two channel soundtrack into a total surround experience, I must say that I have not experienced more pleasure then hearing it in StereoX2. So I think that Klipsch shouldn't only add Dolby Pro II to their DD 5.1 but StereoX2 as well.
