  1. Wow, I finally see a use for the old airplane seats I used to see at Boeing Surplus store. They do not appear all that different from some of the seats pictured here. (The plainer ones.)
  2. Can you guys not read? Fine, you are upset, but deal with it appropriately. There was a warning placed in the 2 channel forum that if this spreads, the whole place will be shut down. Please, go back, read the warning, and do not ruin this for those of us that appreciate these forums.
  3. Hi, I started out wanting to do exactly the same thing, find the best receiver I could upgrade to for under $1000. Then, lately H/K has introduced new models, and I found an H/K AVR-520 for about half that. (And other threads, folks have been saying they have found the newer AVR-525 heavily discounted too.) These seem like a lot of sound and features for the money. ---------------- On 12/30/2002 11:23:51 PM manufanatic wrote: Hello, Even though i have a quality yamaha amp Im considering upgrading the technology to DTS and 7.1. 4. Hi, I have been reading this for months, and this is my first post. I just recently bought a H/K AVR520 form Fry's on sale for $469. It would not have been my first choice, but seems like a great receiver for under $500. So far, I only have it hooked up in Stereo to Cornwalls, and soon will be connecting an Academy center and pair of Heresys for the surround speakers. Most things I have listened to so far sound way better than my old cheap Pioneer receiver. I have noticed that in a few songs, cymbals seen very harsh. Will this likely smooth out with some burn-in of the amp, or is this a problem I will need to figure out how to address? Thanks in advance for any opinions/advice.
