Hi, Would someone help with the age of my speakers? The number on back is 30X 830 and 30X 829 . I have one pair that I bought new in 1976 but these have a nicer finish. Also what is a good furniture oil to use on the wood. Thank-you in advance, Don.

Thank-you for your help.I wanted to change the binding posts for convience so a set of spades that come with todays speaker cables would fit.I thought a higher quality binding post would be more in keeping with the high standards met by the rest of the speaker. I also find at lower volumes the woofer does produce the same kick and needs a higher volume to produce good results.Old capacitors do degrade and I was wondering if anyone had any advice for me.Thanks for all your responces,they give me lots to think about.Your sincerely, Don.

Hi, Can anyone give me info on upgrading the binding posts and crossovers of my Cornwalls I bought new in the early 80s.I love the sound,do these mods help you enjoy our speakers more.Thank you Don
