Receivers & Amps
Jonathan Cash posted a topic in Home TheaterThe Set-Up So, I just made the switch from the pathetic world of sound-bars and switched 😎 to A/V Receiver + x2 (Klipsch's RP-8060FA) Floor-standing Speakers (R/L - 150W RMS / 600W Peak) + (x1 (75W RMS/300W Peak) Center Speaker + x2 (45W RMS) Surround Back (R/L) speakers + x1 (150W) 10" Sub [taken from the Klipsch Reference Cinema Bundle]). All of my speakers from by Klipsch. We are going to use the system for both movies and music. Challenge: I'm looking for a solid A/V Receiver to connect my entire system to, utilizing the full capabilities of the speakers, but also being smart and cost effective. Right now, I'm thinking about getting the Denon X3700H + getting a 200W amp to connect the pre-out of the Denon receiver to. And all of these speakers are going to be connected using 16 gauge OFC wire and banana plugs. My Questions: What's the most cost effective, high-quality approach to accomplishing this? Is the Denon X3700H Receiver the right way to go? What amp should I purchase? Is there anything else I should think about investing into to that can enhance the performance of my system? Any and all advice is welcomed and appreciated! Disclaimer: I'm super green into this field right now (like, 2 days in - 2 calls to Klipsch customer support and several YouTube videos of knowledge now).

5.1.2 Atmos Setup - 190sqft
Astroniz posted a topic in Home TheaterHey! Newbie here. First of all, thank you for letting me join this awesome community. So I'm building a house, and in my basement my wife let me build my own Cinema/Sports room. I started to check out all Home Theater setups and Klipsch kept showing up. I'm really new to this, so I don't really have any idea what speakers to choose. But here goes: I'm looking for a 3000/3500$ setup, Including sound and Receiver. The setup should be a 5.1.2 or 5.2.2 (Should i stay with 1 subwoofer, or get one more?) The room is in the basement, so it has nice acustics, but I will still add some sound proof padding around the room, to get the extra cinema feeling. It's 4 meters X 4,5 meters (13 feet x 15 feet more or less). The FRONT speakers will be floor standing tall ones, and the REAR ones will be Bookcase ones. The ATMOS speakers have they're connections ready in the ceiling. Could anyone help me with a good setup? I checked some examples of RP6000f Setups and R41SA's for the Atmos, is that enough or is something like a RP610 better? Should i go lower as i might not need that much? What about the Subwoofers, is the SPL100 enough or do I need 2, or would you go lower? I'll leave a deisng of how the room should go. Sorry about meter system vs feet system, I'm european!
Heresy III w/ integrated amp?
KayR311 posted a topic in 2-Channel Home AudioHi all, Newbie to the Klipsch board but long time vinyl dj and analog guy :) I need your help. I'm building a home set up for my dj gear (ie. all analog rotary mixer and all turntables), playing disco, 80s, and early & modern electronic music. I've got Heresy IIIs and a sub on my list and I'm having trouble what amp to choose. I wasn't trying to spend "too" much (around $1K and under) but here's what I've narrow down in terms of integrated amps (hoping to connect a few other inputs, maybe a digital input, but sound quality is priority #1) - all of which are around 50w which I'm hoping would power the speakers enough. I know there are much better amps and pre+amp combos, but I'm trying to take it easy for my wife's sake ;) I've read around and on here of people saying more power to the Heresys will drive them to sound better but I'm thinking these should do the trick.
