  1. Hi All, New to the forums here and wondering if I could get some advice. Just started putting together my home theater and purchasing speakers as I go. What does this group think I should upgrade or add first, not looking for top of the line, but decent mid-range set up for the basement. Floor plan is pretty open (about 20' x 28') with the theater contained one side. Ultimate goal is a 7.2.4 set up, however the receiver market is pretty rough, so I know ill be looking to replace that eventually. Below are the details of my current set up. AVR: Pioneer VSX-834 L&R: Klipsch R-820Fs Center: Klipsch RP-500C Side Surrounds: RP-600Ms Front Height: RP-500SAs Sub: R-100SW
  2. Hello Klipsch fans! I've been asked by those following my home theater build videos over the past couple years to post a current and complete walk through video. I finally got around to documenting the completed basement build. It took me over two years from design to final build of what you see here and I did it all with my own two hands and it's been a ton of work. All my audio systems throughout the house are Klipsch so I thought it particularly relevant to post it on this forum. Here are some pics of the final areas as well as the full video tour down to the collectibles in my media room.
  3. Hi Everyone, I have just started to learn about home theatre I am planning to start building it with the 3 front channel speakers. Eventually I wanted to make it 7.1.4 Dolby atmos in future But I am not sure which speaker should I be going for considering the room size ( 10 ft. wide * 15.6 ft. long * 9 ft. height) Based on various reviews I wanted to go with Klipsch speakers but not sure which model to go for since there are various models available Please spare your thought on the speaker selection and AV receiver
  4. First new stereo in 20 years, clean slate, ignorant considering I month research. Die hard KLIPSCH fan having had the forte and then forte ll speakers but this will be my first surround system ever. I did order the RP 280fa Floor-Standing speakers for the front. planning on the either RC 64lll or RP 450ca for center. No woof for now living in condo.Opinions welcome. but am at a loss for rear speakers. The rp402s is recommended for rear speakers on the klipsch site but tempted by reviews of the RP600m bookshelves. 1st should I be staying with the RP series speakers to "match" the system or consider continue reading reviews, enough already, and choose anything. 2nd, why bookshelf or the 402´s´ With bookshelves I would also have to buy stands to get them to the proper height so why spend on stands when I could buy equivalent speakers already Floor-Standing? I am open to any and all suggestions (or donations, my first choice would be to get the heritage lll for the fronts and the RP280fa in the rear, but I'm already, naturally, over 4K budget). my research has led me to the Denon avr3600h.for the receiver and happy with that decision. So that is the plan and I would appreciate opinions on new rear KLIPSCH speakers, and stands if bookshelves are the answer. If buying right now >I would go with the RP600,s on stands but also concerned about stability. the stands I have seen so far look like they would be very unstable in earthquake and live in an earthquake zone.so if someone has seen stable looking bases I would loved to hear about them.
  5. Dear, I joined the Klipsch forum because I believe it is the right resource to get accurate information. I need your advise on setting home theater system. I am not professional but like to listen to quality music. My system is composed of: Denon AVR- 2313 RF-62 II Floor standing Speakers RC-52 II Center Channel Speakers RS-62 II Surround Speakers SW-112 Subwoofer When I first installed the system, I used the Audyssey® Setup. Last week, one of my friends, semiprofessional, adjusted the speakers using the Manual Setup; Amp Assign, Speaker Config., LFE and and LFE+Main, and Levels. I am not sure about the correct way to hear quality music. What is the best way? If I use the manual setup, what should be the readings of Manual Setup settings? Thanks for yr help.
