  1. Been doing some research for quite awhile. I wanna upgrade front stage to be all heritage. But been thinking and want to get some ideas from real user. Now im using rp504c as center speaker pairing with Forte IVs not sure if Cornwall III will be too much or better than Forte IV. Or 3rd Forte IV will be just perfect. Or RC64III is better. from what I was told, Forte IV is way better than RC64III. But not sure about cornwall iii
  2. Disclaimer: I'm a complete beginner A friend of mine (an awesome friend) gave me his two KG2.5 speakers. I immediately set them up on my media room as a 2.0 system, with the intention of buying a center channel and rear speakers in the future. My thinking was to get another KG2.5 for the center speaker and maybe two KG1.2 or KG1.5 for the rear. However, I found a very reasonably priced used Kv2 and bought it as my center channel speaker. The end result.... well, I think the movies and shows sound worse than before, especially because KG 2.5 speakers are way more robust than the Kv2. A few questions... Do you agree that a KG2.5 would be better than a Kv2 for the center channel? (of course I understand that it's best to match and have all speakers from the same model) Would it be crazy to buy another Kv2 and have 2 Kv2 speakers in the rear, and then buy a KG 2.5 for the center? Is there anything specific to the Kv2 that makes it a center channel speaker? Do I really need a subwoofer if I have 3 KG2.5 speakers in the front? Thanks in advance for your answers
  3. Hi there, I am setting up my 5.1.2 home theater my equipment includes. Klipsch Front RP 280f, Center Rp504C, Surround RP402S, and SPL120 woofer. With Denon X4700h My room dimensions are 19 feetx13 feetx 9 feet. I tried to caliberate the system through Audicy but sound is not good at all. Everything is suppressed. Bass is very dull and also high frequency are not well defined. Can someone help me that what crossover should I use ? And what eq setting should I adjust
  4. Hi everyone, I am about to buy Klipsch the Sixes and was wondering if I could connect an equalizer to it. The connection would be from tv to equalizer to the speakers. Is that a possibility? The idea is to sculpt the frequencies a bit, especially the low end when watching movies. Thanks a bunch for any help.
  5. Hi Gurus, Am new to the forum and trying to put a new system together to replace one the kids helped themselves to :-). Purchased KLIPSCH Speakers as follows Fronts 2- RF-7III , Center 1-RC-64III, Rears 2-R250S, Bass- 1-R112SW ( will add another base and or surrounds matching if needed and have second area by the pool to play simple outdoor AV and music so two zones.) Looking for suggestions on what I should use to drive these, room is 45x60 ft open area kitchen, living breakfast nook. Read on-line that I should get the speakers I want and then look for suggestions for how to drive them and thats where the choices started to make less sense. Appreciate the help and suggestions. Thank you.
  6. We are planning the following set of receiver, speakers and sub woofer for a 28` x 14` family room: - Receiver: Denon 6300H (7 channels in family room, 2-4 channels in backyard) - Left & Right: Klipsch RP 260 F - Center speaker: Klipsch RP 250 C - Rear in-wall speakers: Klipsch R 3800 W II - In-ceiling speaker in the middle: Klipsch CDT 3800 C II - Sub woofer: Klipsch R 110 SW - Monoprice 16 gauge for speaker - Monoprice 6 ft co-axial for subwoofer - Banana Plugs Our typical usage would be to watch movies, play games, parties etc. Would love to hear your thoughts on this configuration, particularly if the speakers, sub woofers and receiver are aligned well with each other. Is anything an overkill or can be simplified? Thanks, Arun
