enginard Posted December 16, 2008 Share Posted December 16, 2008 Hi Guys, I am looking at some in wall speakers and am comparing the KL-6504-THX to the older (and less expensive) R-5800-W. I realize the newer THX models have newer technology- but they also have smaller drivers (although twice as many). Have any of you heard both and be able to quantify the sound difference? Also the THX series does not use the cerametallic material in any of their drivers, why did they switch to the fiberglass?
