jhal
Hi to all my first post here. My name is John from Athens Greece i am a Klipsch RF-82 owner (RF-82, RC-62, RS-52 and RW-12d) and i am verry happy of the system when watching movies. It's perfect My amp is an av amp Yamaha Rx-v3800. But i would like to improve 2 channel audio. This is a low budget project. I am thinkink of buying a tripath amp like Trends or kingrex.. Would these amps improve 2 channel audio comparing to Yamaha ? Plese make your suggestions Thanks in advance John
jt1stcav
Welcome to the Forums, John... I haven't heard the Trends or Kingrex yet, but the el-cheapo Sonic Impact my brother owns convinced me that Tripath technology is leaping in bounds soundwise to equal solid-state (and even vacuum tube) characteristics. I would bet that buying a Tripath amp would indeed improve your stereo-only experience with your RF-82s!
