Pieman
Is there some way that I can get the technical specs for my KG 4 speakers? I have had them for about 12 years and was looking to buy some complementary speakers to go with them.

dougdrake
What types of complementary speakers are you looking for? If you are looking for input, I'm sure there are many people in this forum that would be willing to give you their input.
Pieman
I am looking for matching surrounds. I have a pair of Bose 301s but they are not as efficeint and I can hardly hear them with the KG 4s.
boa12
the 301's gotta be some of the most inefficient on the mkt. sorry, but are u also looking for a center? the ss-1 & sc-1 look to be best & they're even still avilable new i think
dougdrake
Interesting. Until recently, I also had KG4s as my mains. I used SS-1 surrounds with them and a used KV-3 as the center. While the SC-1 is the best matching current-production center channel, the no-longer-in-production KV-3 is probably a stronger match (or an Academy). You can find them used from time to time on this bulletin board or e-bay.
