jpm Posted April 2, 2009 Share Posted April 2, 2009 I buy albums from iTunes and load onto my iMac. I then burn them to cd. I notice I can burn at 1x, 2x, 3x, 24x or super fast. Hifi jim Posted April 2, 2009 Share Posted April 2, 2009 I really don't remember, but I thought I use an automatic setting unless I'm thinking of "super fast". I'd assume the slower the speed, the better the quality but I've never compared and the setting I use works just fine (I'm not sure I can distinguish it from an original, so it's good for my purposes). I too, would be interested to hear from other members who maybe have compared with a slower burn speed, and what if any differences they experienced.
