Steve_L
I am wondering if I can use a video monitor, usually used for a PC, as a Video TV monitor fed by a Digital Cable TV box. I can get a 20' H-P HD video monitor through my company for $150. It's a high quality monitor and has both VGA and DVI-D inputs. Assuming the cable box has a DVI-D out, I should be able to use it as a TV, shouldn't I? A small HD TV still seems to be in the over $200 category and aren't you really paying for the built in tuner, which you have in a digital cable box anyway? Am I missign something here? toddvj
There is no reason why you shouldn't be able to use it. Is it a 20" widescreen, or a 20" 4x3?
Steve_L
It's 16X9, I'm just realizing I thin it's 22inch, not 20. I'm thinking I may buy it anyway as I'll always be able to use it for one of my tower systems as a nice monitor.
