matts6887
Ok, heres the problem I am having: suddnely within the past I would say the past 2-3 weeks; the sound went out on my center channel speaker. So, I called klipsch tech support and they told me to test the sound card by plugging a pair of headphones into each of the connectors that the 3 cables plug into on the back of the sound card where the center/sub cable, right rear and left, and front left and right cables plug into. Well, I did this, and I get full, vibrant sound from the front left and right speakers, but the sound coming from the rear left and right speakers is kinda faint and is not as loud as it should be, and then when I tested the center channel plug, I was not getting any sound at all. Tech support told me that this is most likely the cause of a partially bad sound card. Can someone Verify this for me and reply asap, thanks. Also, this is on approx. a 4 1/2 year old Dell Dimension XPS desktop with a Sound Blaster Audigy 2ZS sound card that is definitely 5.1 enabled. Thanks for any info anyone can give me.
