Macallan
I have the Peach II and it recently shut off and then right back on again. This happened a few times so I e-mailed Mark and he recomended changing the tube in the power supply. The unit has worked fine for the last few days and I changed the outlet that the unit is plugged into. When the unit cuts off it always comes right back on like a short interuption in power. Could this be the a power issue from the wall or is the rectifier tube the most obvious problem? Everything i have read about a rectifier failure indicates that the unit would not power up at all. I will change out the tube once i determine that it is not the wall.
Clipped and Shorn
Are you saying you see the pilot light on the front panel go out briefly?
Macallan
yes the Peach off then on again. However, i changed out the power supply tube and the problem stil remains, in fact it cut off today and it won't cut back on.
NOSValves
Check the plug in wires from the transformer I bet one is losing contact. You might have to treat them with Deoxit or if severely fried looking replace them. I've seen this happen on the BBX before. Or you could have a mouse electrocuted inside like I had LMAO !!!
