Moderators Amy Posted October 1, 2009 Moderators Share Posted October 1, 2009 It's likely related to your source music. Do you know the rate of compression for the music on your iPod? Please read our FAQ about bit rates here

INDIAN
does S4 sounds like home theaters or like stage performance, because mine S4 is not sounding as good as i expected , Ifi put S4 at full volume in computer or ipod or psp and keep it onreading table , i can hear the music from 5 feet away without wearingthem in my ears,
justin_tx_16
If I put S4 at full volume in computer or ipod or psp and keep it on reading table ,i can hear the music from 5 feet away without wearing them in my ears, That has nothing to do with the quality of the headphones or their performance. They sound like full range headphones. Comparing headphones to speakers is, in many ways, pointless. Speakers create big sound by moving large amounts of air. This air, especially the lower frequencies, can actually move YOU. Your body feels the vibrations. With headphones, that cannot happen. If you're asking if they are bright and bassy like live speakers or full range home theater speakers... well sorta. Consider it a combination of both but again, it's a different sound than what speakers provide. Compare speakers to speakers, headphones to headphones.
