neptune0
Good Day and thank you for your help. Living room configuration will only allow placement of speakers on the wall/ceiling It is a cathedral ceiling that allows me to hang the speakers from a beam where the ceiling and wall meet. The speaks will angle downwards. My Cornwalls stay in the den. My ear loves them. I am looking to buy a used set to replace the 1976 Advents now in use. Looking at, Heresy, Forte II and Chorus listings at this time. My question: Given speaker placement is there any of the above that would sound better (or another Klipsch speaker) ? Run through a modest vintage NAD receiver.
fastlane
If they must be hung, I would go with Heresys (orig, II, or III) They are sealed boxes, so placement will be easier than the others you listed with rear passive radiators. Plus their smaller size will look better hanging.
sunburnwilly
Why not go pro with some KPT-250's .http://www.klipsch.com/na-en/products/kpt-250-overview/
