yam665 Posted November 18, 2009 Share Posted November 18, 2009 I have the Klipsch QUINTET SL 5.1 speakers, and would like to upgrade to 7.1 or 9.1.I am not sure if i should get new floor speakers to replace left and right or just get satellites for the rear/front ? if i understand right, if i get new rears they do not need to be timber matched, but front floors do. and what about 9.1 do the height speakers need to be timber matched ? and if i get new floors what position should i move the other speakers to? this system is hook up to Yamaha 665 amp and ps3/blu ray. we like our music very loud [] , but watch a lot of movies also. can u recommend some floors that timber match QUINTET SL ? or my best options for this set up please.
