skonopa Posted November 23, 2009 Share Posted November 23, 2009 I had that happen one time but it was a Deputy Sheriff while my band was practicing..We noticed somebody outside the door and it was the Sheriff standing there. He said something like "mind if I listen to you guys?" Uhh, sure. How long you been outside? "about 30 minutes" Ok, come on in. After about 10 minutes he said "oh by the way, we had some complaints from the neighbors that you guys were too loud. You sound really good though." Was at a party with my friend's band the summer before last. Being going quite good until the cops showed up. The cop said something along the lines of "You guys sound awesome, buuuut...." Turned out some lady clear on the other side of the tree line pitched a fit about the music. Ahh well, seems not everybody appreciates good prog rock/metal. Of course, to be asses, as soon as the cops left, the band broke out into a rendition of Judas Priest's "Breakin' the Law" [6] Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
