jwalk2c
Hello everyone, I have looked at many different brands of speakers over the last several months. It came down to RF-7's and Paradigm Studio 100's. I decided to go with Rf-7's . But after reading the unauthorized dealer warning, I am having second thoughts. Many on-line retailers advertise Klipsch speakers, and they state they sell only un-opened , grade a merchandise. Has anyone bought Reference series on-line? Please help, jwalk2c
kenratboy
Welcome to the Klipsch forum! I have NOT bought these speakers online. There are probabely many who have or know more than I do. I personally would not. They are just too damn expensive to take a gamble. The biggest problem is making sure you actually get the real thing, and that it isn't a fake, modified, or otherwise a "invalid" product. I think there is only one or two authorized Klipsch dealers online, but ask others which ones. Good luck, those are SWEET speakers. ------------------ Receiver: Sony STR-DE675 CD player: Sony CDP-CX300 Turntable: Technics SL-J3 with Audio-Technica TR485U Speakers: JBL HLS-610 Subwoofer: JBL 4648A-8 Sub amp: Parts Express 180 watt Center/surrounds: Teac 3-way bookshelfs Yes, it sucks, but better to come. KLIPSCH soon! My computer is better than my stereo!
