xnaron Posted January 3, 2010 Share Posted January 3, 2010 The led light on the front is on but nothing from the speaker. Checked it on another amp and nothing from the speaker. I am out of warranty (2 years) on the amp. Is the amp glued in on the sub-12? I removed all the outer screws and it wouldn't come out. I had to remove the speaker to look inside. I might try the sub-12 fix diy fix that was posted here. Otherwise I am not sure how I'd be able to send just the amp in for replacment if I can't get it out. I am in Canada and shipping the hole amp back is out of the question. I'm really bummed about this. The sub is about 3 years old and has been babied in a home theater. I didn't expect it to die so soon EDIT: I was able to remove the amp...it was just really tight. I hope I can get a replacement. I don't see any leaking caps or burnt IC's.
