ptaylor Posted January 20, 2010 Share Posted January 20, 2010 I guess you could call this a mod. Was making my rounds in the thrift and pawn shops when I spotted a pair of black speakers. Thought they had a strangely familiar shape to them. Upon closer inspection I discovered,to my horror, that they were KG-4's. Someone thought it would be a good idea to paint them black, with a paint brush. The grills were so faded from smoke they were green! Didnt look at the drivers or horns,afraid of what I might find. They even went as far as to replace one of the woofers with a different speaker that didn't match in any way shape or form and them bragged about how the sound improved?!?!?!?
