Mirwolf
Last nite i played some music while i was sleeping and i woke up in the morning round 2 to turn it off. I stopped winamp but left the speakers on. Then around 6 there was huge static and popping noise coming from the speakers. no one was in my room and i was sleeping, the volume was set on very low. now everytime i turn on/off the speakers theres a huge popping noise and no sound can be played from it, seems like somethings blown? ive checked the connections and everything seems fine. I dont think its a power surge becuase the speakers are connected to a surge protector which is connected to a UPS system. thanks for any help. justin_tx_16
is it like Thumbph noise when you turn them off? that is normal. all systems that have analog power controls will do that. ------------------ -justin SoundWise Support A technical help site created by me and my fellow Klipschers I am an amateur, if it is professional; ProMedia help you want email Amy or call her @ 1-888-554-5665 or for an RA# 800-554-7724 ext 5 Klipsch Home Audio help you want, email support@klipsch.com or call @ 1-800-KLIPSCH RA# Fax Number=317-860-9140 / Parts Department Fax Number=317-860-9150s>
Mirwolf
I know what you mean about the thump when you normally turn it off, but this one is much louder than regularly. you can also feel air coming out of the sub. In addition, no sound comes out of the speakers. the night when it happened there was huge continual pops and fizzles and feedback even when there was nothing playin on the speakers, just happened when speakers were on. this doesnt happen now, but i cant play sound from the speakers anymore.
