graesen
Ok, been trying to do my research and find answers, but I get nowhere. I've read the pre-packaged "designed for ipod, results may vary on other devices" messages. Looking for a real answer if anyone knows. I ordered the s4i headphones for my android based samsung moment. I don't need the controls to work, but I DO want the mic to work. I don't want to downgrade and the x10i's are too expensive. Will the mic work with my phone? If not, what about these headphones and my phone causes this incompatibility? I understand the apple chip is 1 factor but I can see that being the reason the remote features wouldn't function properly. Thanks
graesen
Well, I JUST got my s4i headphones and tried them out on my samsung moment. They work great! I love em! As expected, the remote doesn't work but this was clearly advertised as an apply ipod feature anyway and I didn't care about that. I was concerned about the mic working or not and it does. I've read it doesn't with the Droid and I'm REALLY hoping its a hardware problem, not a 2.0/2.1 issue because the Moment upgrades to 2.1 (android) in the next couple months and I'd hate to lose the mic functionality after dropping this much money...
