Rubbing and scratching sound from the wire on new S4's

I just bought the S4 earbuds. They sound great and worked well on an
airplane. I get a lot of noise however from the cord near the earpiece
rubbing against the collar of my shirt. It makes it hard to wear them
while exercising or even typing at my computer. Is there any way to
avoid the scratching noise? I've tried wrapping the cord behind my ear which helps a litte, but they fall off sometimes.
