Features, tone on/off which turns off the bass, treble controls, filters 30hz and 8khz, tape duplicate switch, FM muting on/off FM multipath, Adaptor on/off which allows you to hook an equalizer up etc. mic left/right inputs, two tape in/outputs, one aux input, two phono inputs, phono two switch is for both mic and phono two, modes stereo and mono, and both tuning and signal meters. Neat monster receiver. Specifications: Power Output: 160 watts per channel RMS into 8 ohms. Harmonic Distortion: Less than 0.1% Intermodulation Distortion: Less than 0.1% FM Sensitivity: 1.5uV FM Capture Ratio: 1.00 FM Harmonic Distortion Mono: <0.1% FM Harmonic Distortion Stereo: <0.2% Dimensions: 22 x 7.5 x 18.75 Weight: 64.25 lbs Probably worth a few hundred bucks if near mint. More with original box and manual. I own the Kenwood equivalent and it has a small cult following. Bonder Posted March 29, 2010 Share Posted March 29, 2010 Check that auction site for current prices on the SX 1250, the SX 5590 is very difficult to find given the number produced. There's a number of folks who would be willing to pay a premium over a SX-1250. The SX 1250 can sell from $500 to over $1,000 depending on condition.
