iain7
Hi, I got my custom 3s last Christmas and have loved them like a child ever since. I've been keeping them in the case as instructed by Klipsch and until now they've worked beautifully. However, yesterday when I took them from the case I noticed one of the buds seemed a bit loose from the wire - my suspicions were correct and the right headphone doesn't play any music. I think it's a wire connection problem because I managed to hear from it for a second when i tilted the wire to get a look. It appears as though the wire has come loose from the tube which wraps around your ear? Any advice on what I can do to fix this problem? It can't be that I've yanked the wire off, it managed to break in the case, so it can't be that badly damaged. I can't stand listening with my standard ipod headphones... Thanks in advance! jamesV
Sorry to hear about that. Any way to post a picture to show the problem? I've had my Custom 3's in the case and don't know how the wire would pull from being in then as you posted, it managed to break in the case,.James
iain7
Sure - I'm not at home till after easter, but I store them exactly as Professor Thump describes in this thread. There doesn't seem to be any stress on the part of the headphone where the wire has come loose, as there is slack wire there!
